Basketball Recap: Presidio Beats Alpine for Their Third Straight Win

Presidio hadn't done well against Alpine recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Presidio Blue Devils managed a 51-47 win over the Alpine Bucks. This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Bucks back in January, they had to take a 47-32 loss.

Despite the defeat, Alpine saw an underclassman step up: freshman Gyllian Morrissey posted 15 points and five steals. Morrissey has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Andynne Ramirez, who had ten points and four steals.
