Skyler Sammons Game Report: @ Columbia

Passers beware: Skyler Sammons came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made one tackle, helping propel Athens past Columbia by a score of 64-14. We hope Sammons' good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Sammons and Athens will venture away from home to challenge Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Sammons duked it out with the Red Raiders (back in October of 2024), the Golden Eagles came out on top by a score of 49-20.
