Baseball Recap: Midwood Comes Up Short

Midwood was the 5-4 winner over Lincoln when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets fell just short of the Railsplitters by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Midwood dropped their record down to 9-5-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

As of now, neither Midwood nor the Railsplitters have any future games scheduled.
