Basketball Game Preview: Addison Bulldogs vs. Falkville Blue Devils

Addison and Falkville are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Addison Bulldogs will challenge the Falkville Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Addison and seven for Falkville.

Addison is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since January 2, 2024 last Saturday. They were dealt a 58-30 defeat at the hands of Phil Campbell. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Bobcats are ranked 150th).

Meanwhile, Falkville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 45-39 to Central.

Addison's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Falkville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Addison came out on top in a nail-biter against Falkville in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, sneaking past 51-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Addison since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
