Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tenley Mauer and Kaitlynn Hartnady Lead Edgar to Victory

It was a proper cat-fight when Edgar duked it out with Prairie Farm on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Leading Edgar to victory were Kaitlynn Hartnady and Tenley Mauer. Hartnady had 11 digs and two aces, while Mauer had four aces. Those four aces gave Mauer a new career-high.

Edgar is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Prairie Farm, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-10.

Edgar and Prairie Farm should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Wildcats (ranked 47th) will meet Assumption (ranked 441st) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Prairie Farm will take on Northwood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (148 vs. 451).
