Soccer Game Preview: Brazoswood vs. Ridge Point

The Brazoswood Buccaneers will square off against the Ridge Point Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Brazoswood played against Clear Brook last Friday and won via forfeit.

Ridge Point took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Fort Bend Austin. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Ridge Point pushed their record up to 13-4-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those seven games. As for Brazoswood, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-2-2 record this season.
