Flag Football Recap: Covington Academy Takes a Loss

Covington Academy lost against Scholars Guild Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs were outmatched by the Spartans and fell 52-0. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Spartans are ranked 97th).

Covington Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Scholars Guild Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Coincidentally, Covington Academy and Scholars Guild Academy will both be playing Young Americans Christian the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
