Greer's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Yellow Jackets: when they faced off against the Fighting Tigers back in September, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Greer never let Blue Ridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-13.

Alexis Cannon paced Greer's offense, picking up nine kills. Cannon got some help from Miriam Onofre and her 13 assists. Finally, Anna Brown kept Greer's defense grounded, leading the team with eight blocks.

Despite the defeat, Blue Ridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Courtney Simila had 11 digs and three assists. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Simila. Grace Lisenby also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Greer pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Blue Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18-2.
