Baseball Recap: Windsor Jaguars vs. Inderkum Tigers
Windsor gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Inderkum Tigers as the Windsor Jaguars made off with an 8-1 victory.
Micah Sanders made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over 5.2 innings pitched. Sanders was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lucas Adriano, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Jayden Metzger was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Inderkum's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Coming up, Windsor will face off against Justin-Siena at 1:00 p.m. on March 1st. As for Inderkum, they are taking a road trip to square off against Rio Linda at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
