Wesleyan dropped down to 6-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were beaten by the Fellowship Christian Paladins 41-14. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 28-14 to the Paladins when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jameson Hilton threw for 70 yards on only six passes. Carter Hayes was his top target, picking up 77 receiving yards. On the ground, Maddox Gartland rushed for 51 yards.

As for Fellowship Christian, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.7 points on average over those games.

Cj Givers produced another solid effort rushing for 119 yards and two scores on only 12 carries, while also picking up 80 receiving yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Patrick Trummie, who picked up 24 receiving yards and one touchdown.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wesleyan will challenge rival Landmark Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fellowship Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Whitefield Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
