Recap: Harrold Hornets vs. Benjamin Mustangs
The Harrold Hornets''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Benjamin 69-6. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Harrold in their matchups with Benjamin: they've now lost five in a row.
Grayson Rigdon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Benjamin, rushing for 203 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries. Rigdon is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Keegan Hayes, who rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Harrold's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Benjamin, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Chillicothe the next time they take the field. Benjamin will host Chillicothe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Harrold will host them at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
