Volleyball Recap: Cooper City Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cooper City lost against Pompano Beach back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cowboys fell just short of the Golden Tornadoes by a score of 3-2. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Cooper City actually scored more points across those five sets (110-105), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 17-25, 26-24, 27-25, 20-25, 15-11.

Emiliana Rosas paced Cooper City's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rosas got some help from Devin Dillon and her 18 assists. Sophia Tellez controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Cooper City now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Pompano Beach, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Cooper City and Pompano Beach are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, the Cowboys and South Broward will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pompano Beach, they will challenge Stranahan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
