Baseball Recap: Knox Central Comes Up Short

Knox Central lost against Karns back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers lost 11-4 to the Beavers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waylon Frazier made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Knox Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Karns, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Knox Central will challenge Lynn Camp at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Karns, they will be playing at home against Oak Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Beavers surely won't give up without a fight.
