Football Recap: West Linn Finds Playoff Glory Versus Roosevelt + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Linn had no problem doing just that on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Roosevelt Roughriders 56-7. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Linn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sloan Baker, who threw for 232 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.5 yards per attempt. Baker has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. MJ Kennybrew was in the mix too, providing West Linn with two scores.

The win keeps West Linn at an undefeated 10-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.1 points over those games. As for Roosevelt, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Coming up, West Linn will challenge Jesuit on Saturday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Crusaders have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
