Football Recap: Somerset Sky Pointe Takes a Loss

Somerset Sky Pointe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 30-0 defeat at the hands of the Bonanza Bengals. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Bengals from their previous meeting back in January.

Somerset Sky Pointe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bonanza, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Somerset Sky Pointe will welcome Sierra Vista at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sierra Vista is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 44 points per game this season. As for Bonanza, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cimarron-Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bonanza is facing Cimarron-Memorial at the right time seeing as Cimarron-Memorial is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
