Viewmont is 9-1 against Bonneville since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Viewmont Vikings will be playing at home against the Bonneville Lakers at 5:15 p.m. Viewmont is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.
Bonneville will be up against a hot Viewmont team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Viewmont came out on top against Northridge by a score of 57-46 on Wednesday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Viewmont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mara Mickelson, who went 8 for 18 en route to 24 points. The dominant performance gave Mickelson a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Carr, who posted 14 points along with seven boards and three steals.
Viewmont smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 22 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Bonneville can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 45-44 win over Box Elder.
Viewmont better keep an eye on Ema Eskelsen. She was instrumental in Bonneville's win, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Baya Jimenez was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.
Viewmont is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Bonneville, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Viewmont has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 28.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Bonneville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Viewmont was able to grind out a solid win over Bonneville in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 62-49. Will Viewmont repeat their success, or does Bonneville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
