McDonell Central entered their tilt with Hudson on Saturday with 33 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 34. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0. For the Macks, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

McDonell Central's offense was headlined by Taylan Hanson and Payton Hepfler, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Erin Siegenthaler and her 22 assists. Hepfler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

McDonell Central's victory bumped their record up to 38-2. As for Hudson, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine matches and leaves them with a 23-5 record.

McDonell Central has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Osceola on the 11th. As for Hudson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rice Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
