Softball Recap: Waynedale Falls Short of Dalton in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Waynedale can now relate to. They lost 8-1 to the Dalton Bulldogs on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Golden Bears couldn't push the score so high this time.

Waynedale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madi Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Waynedale now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Dalton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-10.

As of now, neither Waynedale nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
