Baseball Recap: Riverside Finds Home Field Redemption Against Woodmont

There's no place like home for Riverside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let the Woodmont Wildcats get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Carlysle Jones, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Nolan Grabiec was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Riverside kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Woodmont, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.
