Baseball Recap: Trimble Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Trimble lost to South Webster back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Tomcats skirted past the Jeeps 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tomcats.

Trimble pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for South Webster, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-7.

Coming up, Trimble will square off against Amanda-Clearcreek at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Webster, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Symmes Valley at 5:00 p.m.
