Basketball Recap: Onalaska Takes Down Sauk Prairie in a Playoff Battle

Onalaska extended their postseason success on Friday against Sauk Prairie. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-43 win over the Sauk Prairie Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hilltoppers have posted since February 24, 2024.

Onalaska is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Sauk Prairie and nudges their season record down to 12-12.

As of now, neither Onalaska nor Sauk Prairie have any future games scheduled.
