Soccer Recap: Johnston Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Johnston can now relate to. They lost 5-1 to the Burrillville Broncos on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Burrillville this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in October.

Johnston's goal came courtesy of Freddy Magana, who's now up to ten this season.

Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-2. As for Burrillville, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1-1.

Johnston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burrillville, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Toll Gate on the 9th.
