Soccer Game Preview: Wilson vs. Rowland

The Wilson Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Rowland Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wilson is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Charter Oak on Thursday. Wilson fell just short of Charter Oak by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Rowland entered their contest against Covina on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Rowland fell 3-1 to Covina. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 730th, while the Colts are ranked 261st).

Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Rowland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7-1.
