Soccer Game Preview: Pine Bush vs. Kingston

The Pine Bush Bushmen will square off against the Kingston Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Pine Bush's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 11 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, Pine Bush didn't have quite enough to beat Warwick and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, Pine Bush can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 366th, while Warwick are ranked 68th).

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Kingston made sure to put some goals up on the board against Our Lady of Lourdes on Thursday. They beat the Warriors by a goal, winning 4-3.

Pine Bush's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Kingston, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
