Soccer Recap: Sandalwood Takes a Loss

After flying high against Parker last Tuesday, Sandalwood came back down to earth. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wolfson Wolfpack who were credited with the win on Wednesday. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Sandalwood's goal came courtesy of Matteo Mo, who's now up to three this season.

Sandalwood suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 8-2-1. As for Wolfson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1-2.

Sandalwood didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Wolfson on the 14th. Wolfson has also already played their next game, a 6-0 loss against Mandarin on the 10th.
