Football Recap: South Rowan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Rowan extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 3-7. They were outmatched by the Carson Cougars and fell 35-0. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Brooks Hunter threw for 41 yards on six of 15 attempts. Trystin Chadwick was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards.

As for Carson, the win got them back to even at 5-5. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won four contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Rosean Perkins, who rushed for 140 yards and three scores on only 12 carries, and also picked up 80 receiving yards and one TD. Those 140 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Griffin Barber, who rushed for 58 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

As of now, neither South Rowan nor Carson have any future games scheduled.
