Volleyball Recap: Paint Valley Has No Trouble Against Whiteoak

Paint Valley's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Whiteoak Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Paint Valley took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-9, 25-15.

Aaliyah Young was nothing short of spectacular: she had 13 digs and three aces. Those 13 digs gave her a new career-high.

The win got Paint Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Whiteoak, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Paint Valley has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Zane Trace on the 26th. As for Whiteoak, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Fairfield on the 28th.
