Soccer Game Preview: Mission Oak vs. Dinuba

The Mission Oak Hawks will venture away from home to take on the Dinuba Emperors at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Mission Oak came up short against Hanford and fell 4-2. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Hawks came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Bullpups are ranked 439th).

Meanwhile, Dinuba earned a 5-3 win over Tulare Union on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Emperors.

Dinuba's victory bumped their record up to 11-7-4. As for Mission Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4-3.

Mission Oak came up short against Dinuba in their previous meeting back in January, falling 5-3. Can Mission Oak avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
