After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Burlington, Anderson County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against Baldwin as Anderson County made off with an 8-1 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Michael Mains, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Wheat, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Anderson County now has a winning record of 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Anderson County beat Baldwin by a score of 16-8 later that day.
