Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Woodlands). They blew past the New Caney Eagles 99-23 on Tuesday. The Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

The Woodlands' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Pino, who went 9 of 15 on her way to 24 points and three steals. That's the most points Pino has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Isa Alaniz, who went 8 for 12 en route to 18 points and six steals.

The Woodlands smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive games.

The Woodlands is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 22-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for New Caney, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-27.
