Softball Recap: Goshen Takes a Loss

Goshen lost against NorthWood on May 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The RedHawks came up short against the Panthers, falling 17-1.

Goshen saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mia Crist, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Goshen has also been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for NorthWood, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Goshen is taking a road trip to take on South Bend Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for NorthWood, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against South Bend Adams at 5:30 p.m.
