Mid-Carolina came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Dixie Hornets, falling 4-0. Mid-Carolina's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-2. As for Dixie, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Mid-Carolina wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 12-0 victory against Eau Claire on the 25th. As for Dixie, they will challenge Belton-Honea Path at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dixie is facing Belton-Honea Path at the right time seeing as Belton-Honea Path is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
