Flag Football Game Preview: Orange Lutheran Lancers vs. Huntington Beach Oilers

Two dominant signal callers in Makena Cook and Roxie Shaia are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Orange Lutheran Lancers will be playing at home against the Huntington Beach Oilers at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Orange Lutheran sitting on three straight wins and Huntington Beach on 21.

Orange Lutheran is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They put the hurt on San Marcos with a sharp 41-18 victory. Considering the Lancers have won 18 contests by more than 21 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Orange Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ava Harrison led the charge by picking up 48 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Happy Dubois also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.

Camarillo typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Huntington Beach proved too difficult a challenge. They took down the Scorpions 20-6.

Huntington Beach's win bumped their record up to 25-1. As for Orange Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 23-2.
