Volleyball Game Preview: Jefferson Democrats vs. Los Angeles Romans

Jefferson hasn't had much luck against Los Angeles recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Jefferson will be playing in front of their home fans against Los Angeles at 4:30 p.m.

Jefferson is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dr. Maya Angelou Community.

Jefferson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-13, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles entered their tilt with Math & Science College Preparatory on Friday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Sharks.

The final score came out to 25-19, 9-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Los Angeles' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-10. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
