Softball Preview: Greensburg Pirates vs. Connersville Spartans
Greensburg is 2-8 against Connersville since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Greensburg Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Connersville Spartans at 11:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Thursday, Greensburg got the win against Batesville by a conclusive 11-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for Greensburg.
Harper Adams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts every time she's pitched this season.

Greensburg pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Connersville, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.
