Volleyball Recap: Westview Wildcats vs. Jesuit Crusaders
After a string of three wins, Westview's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Jesuit Crusaders. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.
Addy Azavedo was nothing short of spectacular for Jesuit: she had nine digs and six aces. That's the most aces Azavedo has posted since back in October of 2023.
Westview's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3. As for Jesuit, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Westview will stay at home for another game and welcome Hood River Valley on Saturday. After both having extra time off, Jesuit and Beaverton will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Jesuit is looking to tack on another W to their 13-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
