Baseball Recap: Pearl-Cohn Takes a Loss

Pearl-Cohn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Springfield Yellow Jackets, falling 11-1.

Pearl-Cohn saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makel Dumas, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Another was Brian Jones, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Pearl-Cohn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Springfield, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-18.

Pearl-Cohn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springfield, they will face off against Kirkwood at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
