Basketball Recap: Overhills Triumphs

Overhills won the last time they faced Western Harnett and Zachiah Chalmers did his part to make sure it happened again. The Jaguars snuck past the Eagles with a 39-33 victory on Thursday thanks in part to Chalmers, who posted 12 points and five boards. He has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 56% every time he's hit the court this season.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was AJ Manning, who put up nine points and six rebounds. Ricky Williams was another key player, putting up six points.
