Palmyra had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-33 win over Monroe City on Friday. The 36-point effort marked Palmyra's lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Palmyra has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Monroe City's loss dropped their record down to 19-6.

As of now, neither Palmyra nor Monroe City have any future games scheduled.
