Volleyball Recap: Sullivan Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Sullivan entered their tilt with Eminence on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Eels 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sullivan was: they took every set by at least 19 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-6, 25-6.

Their offense was headlined by Camden Golish and Haylee Slaughter, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Rachel Eslinger and her 18 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 16 aces.

Sullivan's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Eminence, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Sullivan is taking a road trip to challenge Shakamak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eminence, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Monrovia at 5:30 p.m. on September 3.
