Softball Recap: Flushing Takes a Loss

Flushing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-1 to the Linden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 on Monday.

Flushing's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Linden, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Flushing is set to square off against their familiar foe Kearsley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Linden will take on rival Holly at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
