Softball Recap: Killingly Takes a Loss

Norwich Free Academy hit Killingly with a six-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Redmen came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-1. The Redmen have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Killingly's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Norwich Free Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Killingly will head out on the road to challenge Stonington at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norwich Free Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
