Football Recap: Atlantic Coast Takes a Loss

After flying high against Parker last Friday, Atlantic Coast came back down to earth. The Stingrays had to suffer through a 54-16 loss at the hands of the Mandarin Mustangs. The Stingrays have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Shaunqueze Foster went supernova For Mandarin., rushing for 101 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. Another big playmaker for they was Brysen Wright, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Atlantic Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mandarin, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlantic Coast will square off against Fletcher at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mandarin, they will venture away from home to face off against Sandalwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
