Soccer Recap: Nacogdoches Comes Up Short

Nacogdoches was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Hallsville Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 571st, while the Bobcats are ranked 112th).

Nacogdoches' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hallsville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1-2.

Looking ahead, Nacogdoches will face off against Texas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hallsville, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Hallsville challenge the Tyler at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
