Soccer Recap: Aurora East Takes a Loss

Aurora East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Waubonsie Valley Warriors, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Aurora East of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Aurora East's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11-1. As for Waubonsie Valley, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-8-4 record.

Aurora East has already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against Elgin on the 10th. As for Waubonsie Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against York on the 9th.
