The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-21.
Sofia Pichert put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had nine digs and two aces.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Brooklyn, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went Independence's way against Brooklyn in their previous matchup back in September, as Independence made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
