Softball Game Preview: Whiteville Wolfpack vs. Heide Trask Titans

The Whiteville Wolfpack will take on the Heide Trask Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Whiteville came up short against Lumberton on Wednesday, falling 8-1. The Wolfpack have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Meanwhile, Heide Trask posted their closest win since April 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Whiteville, sneaking past 6-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Dava Bullard made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
