Basketball Game Preview: Mystic Valley Regional Eagles vs. Minuteman Regional Minuteman

The Mystic Valley Regional Eagles will face off against the Minuteman Regional Minuteman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Mystic Valley Regional took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 70-39 win over Northeast Metro RVT.

It was another big night for Dalton Kinnon, who posted 27 points.

Meanwhile, Minuteman Regional lost 76-56 to Whittier RVT last Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Minuteman have lost by exactly 20 points.

Mystic Valley Regional's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Minuteman Regional, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Mystic Valley Regional came up short against Minuteman Regional in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 47-43. Can Mystic Valley Regional avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
