Basketball Game Preview: Crossroads Christian Colts vs. Brunswick Academy Vikings

The Crossroads Christian Colts will head out on the road to challenge the Brunswick Academy Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crossroads Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Crossroads Christian will head into Tuesday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lee Christian on Tuesday. Crossroads Christian claimed a resounding 77-30 win over Lee Christian. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Brunswick Academy hadn't done well against Kenston Forest recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Brunswick Academy walked away with a 68-57 victory over Kenston Forest. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Kavaliers are ranked 246th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crossroads Christian's record is now 11-6. As for Brunswick Academy, their record is now 12-3.

Everything went Crossroads Christian's way against Brunswick Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2015, as Crossroads Christian made off with an 88-67 win.
