Volleyball Recap: Van Comes Up Short

Van lost against Sherman back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Tide.

Sophia Rollo was a one-woman wrecking crew For Sherman. as she had 15 kills and seven digs. Rollo has been hot for a while, having posted seven or more kills the last 39 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Audrina Smith, who had seven digs and three aces.

Van's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sherman, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Van will square off against Bluefield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sherman, they will welcome Tolsia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
